Sierra Sierra Megan MeganGale was just 18 when she was crowned the winner of a modeling contest in Perth. After modelling for a few years, Gale became famous in 1999 when she was featured as part of an advertising campaign from Omnitel, which has since become Vodafone Italy. She appeared in their ads until the year 2006. The Australian Tourist Commission also hired her in 2003 to be"Australia's face" in 2003 "face of Australia" to be used in Italy. Gale appeared on the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. She has also appeared in Italian Maxim as well as Australian InStyle. Gale was mentioned in the editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia and Italian GQ. Gale has been a model on runways for Italian fashion houses including Gianfranco Ferre, Genny, Gai Mattiolo and also runway with Mariella Burani, and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale can also be a devoted fan of numerous Australian designers including Colette Dinnigan Kirrily johnston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. Gale was the fashion analyst for Australia's television awards in 2006 (the Logies). Gale was let go of runway fashion at the beginning of January in 2008, having worked for 15 years. Her last catwalk for the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney in the following week. For her last look, she wore Wonder Woman's outfit from The Justice League of America movie which was never made. The film premiered in March 2011. Gale returned to the runway to close Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival show. August 2011 marked Gale's 10th birthday with department retailer David Jones, the longest run fashion contract in Australia. Gale was joined by Beyonce as well as Jennifer Lopez as an ambassador of L'Oreal Paris in the same month. Gale was featured in commercials to promote L'Oreal in Australia and New Zealand. She also made appearances in Italy.
