Elizabeth Gillies

Gillies Acting career began at age 12 as she began going to casting opportunities in the local community. Her first appearances were in commercials for companies such as Virgin Mobile. Gillies' first television role was in a role as a recurring character during three segments of The Black Donnellys. She's stated that she was never allowed to watch the finished series in all its entirety as her parents thought that it wasn't appropriate for her at the time. She played minor roles in The Clique and Harold and also Locker 514. In summer of that year, she was also cast in the role of Lucy in a Goodspeed staging of Robert's new musical 13 along with her future Victorious co-star Ariana Grande. In the following year, 13 moved to Broadway, which made it an unprecedented Broadway production to feature an entire band and cast comprised of teens. The show featured the popular number "Opportunity," "It Can't be True" and other smaller numbers like "Hey Kendra,"" "Getting Ready" and some others.
